Five-star Rating Recognizes Superior Product Content, Manufacturing Practice.

Pittsburgh, PA — Douglas Laboratories has been named a NutriSearch Gold Medal of Achievement recipient for several of the company's innovative nutritional supplements. These products include:

NutriSearch Corporation's Comparative Guide to Nutritional Supplements completed its review of the vitamin and mineral marketplace and awarded the NutriSearch GOLD Medal of Achievement to less than one percent of more than 1,600 North American supplements reviewed. To qualify for the NutriSearch Medal of Achievement Program, a product must meet NutriSearch's five-star product rating. Each product is assessed on 18 important health support criteria against a blended standard, which is created from the published recommendations for daily nutrient intake of 12 recognized nutritional authorities.

Douglas Laboratories qualified for this top award for product content, demonstrating superior Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), and documenting a successful, independent laboratory analysis of product label claims.
